While a lot of the exterior work was going on, we had a crew inside doing the drywall.  Boy, these guys are FAST!!! And really messy.  You’ve never seen anything so messy as drywall, and it’s not just the dust. But, as usual, let’s start with just before, where the remaining walls that were not ThermaSteel SIPs were covered with reflective foil.  Heat reflection and insulation, with 5/8" drywall everywhere–efficient and sound absorbent.

Master Bedroom.

Ok, now let’s begin drywalling.

Dining and Living area… they just flung all the stuff down as they went and it totally piled up.

Master bedroom ceiling…talk about pitches and angles.

Kitchen… very pretty hammered copper range hood waits and waits and waits….

Texture

We decided to go with "old world" texture, which is sort of a subtle texture that looks nice for any style. Here’s the parlor before, during, and after texturing.

This guy said he got walking on those stilts in one day. Amazing.

Drywall Complete

Here are a few shots of the rooms all textured and ready for paint.I love the way the arches turned out.
